Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why

• Name, address, email and phone: to take payment, post your order and contact you about it (contract).
• Order history: for our accounts and tax records (legal obligation).
• Your email address, if you opt in: to send occasional news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
• Website usage, such as pages viewed and how you found us: to understand which pages work and fix problems (legitimate interests).

We do not see or store card details.

Who we share it with

• Stripe: card payments.
• Royal Mail: delivery.
• Cloud Hosting UK: hosts our website and sends our order emails.
• Etsy: only if you buy through our Etsy shop, under Etsy’s own privacy policy.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records: 6 years, for tax. Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing oceanleashuk@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Our shop uses essential cookies to run the basket and checkout, and cookies that record how you arrived at the site so we can see which pages bring in orders.
